LA CROSSE, Wis. – October 18, 2021 – Blake Herring has been hired as Chief Human Resources Officer at Marine Credit Union.

Herring has more than 30 years of HR leadership experience in multiple industries, having held roles at GMAC Residential Capital, UnitedHealth Group, The Schwans Food Company, and the Taylor Corporation. Throughout his career, his emphasis has been on growing positive, productive cultures that maximize the potential of both employees and the organization.

In the CHRO role, Herring will support Marine’s focus on the Employee Experience (EX) and oversee talent, human capital, and payroll and benefits. He is eager and well-equipped to advance Marine’s mission to move members toward financial ownership and make a difference in our communities.
