MCU Partners with Digital Bridge to Provide Secure E-Waste Recycling Across All Locations
MILWAUKEE – January 12, 2026 – Marine Credit Union, which operates 17 locations across the Midwest, has partnered with Milwaukee-based Digital Bridge to provide free, secure e-waste removal, recycling, and refurbishment services at every branch. The collaboration strengthens both organizations shared commitment to expanding digital access and reducing the environmental impact of electronic waste.
Digital Bridge will collect and process retired technology donated by Marine Credit Union. Devices will be securely erased of all data, and when possible, redistributed to individuals and organizations in need. As a NAID AAA certified recycler, Digital Bridge adheres to the highest industry standards for secure data destruction and responsible recycling, ensuring Marine Credit Union’s retired equipment is handled with rigorous protection and environmental stewardship.
Marine Credit Union is a committed partner of the Digital Coalition of Southeast Wisconsin, a regional effort dedicated to addressing the digital divide. This new partnership furthers that mission by enabling more technology to reach households and community-based programs across the region.
“Marine Credit Union is deeply invested in supporting the financial and digital well-being of the communities we serve,” said Aaron McCollum, Community Lead of Racine for Marine Credit Union. “Partnering with Digital Bridge allows us to safely repurpose our retired technology and help ensure families have access to the digital tools they need to learn, work, and stay connected.”
For Digital Bridge, the partnership expands its ability to deliver refurbished devices where it can have the greatest impact.
“This partnership reflects Marine Credit Union’s leadership in building a more equitable digital landscape,” said Michael Regione, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Digital Bridge. “Their commitment to secure, responsible technology disposal means more devices will be kept out of landfills and placed into the hands of people who need them most.”
Digital Bridge is one of the nation’s top nonprofit e-waste recyclers and is the only NAID AAA Certified recycler of its kind in Southeast Wisconsin. Its free services allow institutions to manage retired technology sustainably and securely, while supporting digital inclusion programs locally and internationally.
