Our Initiatives

FoodShare Shortage Food Drive
All MCU Branch Locations
November-December, 2025
Recent reductions in FoodShare benefits have left countless families in our communities struggling to meet basic nutritional needs. In response, Marine is launching a year-end food drive across our branch network to help bridge the gap and support neighbors and food pantries that are experiencing food insecurity. For additional information and ways you can contribute to this food drive, please refer to the details provided below.
Food Drive Details:
Timeline: The food drive will run now through December 31.
Drop-Off Locations: Donations will be collected at each of our branch locations, and they will be delivered to local pantries at the end of November and again at the end of December.
We’re Looking For: Non-perishable, shelf-stable food items.
In addition to our ongoing food drive efforts, we are donating over $30,000 to local food banks throughout our footprint in the coming weeks. By combining food donations with financial support, we aim to make a meaningful impact at both the state and local levels supporting our communities during this difficult time.
