Marine Credit Union and Captain Mason Program Partner to Present Financial Wellness Workshop for Veterans

RACINE, Wis. – April 24, 2025 – Marine Credit Union (MCU) and the Captain John D. Mason Veteran Peer Outreach Program are partnering to host a special Interactive Session on Financial Wellness Tools at the Racine Public Library, designed especially for veterans and their families.

The workshop, scheduled for Thursday, May 1, will cover essential financial topics, including understanding financial wellness and overcoming financial trauma. With a focus on providing veterans and their families with practical tools and guidance, the workshop will feature a live demo that aims to empower participants to build financial confidence and resilience.

“Veterans have given so much in service to our country, and it’s important for them to have access to the financial resources and support they need,” said Aaron McCollum, Racine Community Lead at Marine Credit Union. “This workshop is about giving veterans and their families tools to thrive financially, whether they’re just starting their journey or looking to recover their financial well-being.”
