About Caley
I joined Marine Credit Union in August 2023, bringing with me two decades of diverse experience from outside the credit union industry. My career has taken me from cold-calling and selling knives in college, to providing compassion care in assisted living, to guiding at-risk youth through counseling programs, and helping clients navigate some of life’s most personal and complex transitions through estate planning.
One of the most formative chapters of my career was serving as the Executive Assistant to the Mayor of La Crosse. That role not only gave me a deep understanding of how local government operates, but underscored the importance of communication, integrity, and responsiveness in building strong communities. It reinforced my belief that leadership starts with listening and that kindness and compassion are just as important as strategy and execution.
Today, I have the privilege of supporting our CEO in implementing the strategic plan established by our Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team. What drew me to Marine was more than just the opportunity – it was the focus on the mission, values, and people. The values we uphold at MCU are not just words on paper; they guide our work every day.
At my core, I lead with the intention to leave people better than I found them. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, taking care of our farm animals, going to concerts, spending time with my husband and four kids, and making the most of life in the country.
