ID Check Process for Out-of-State Shared Branching

As a member of Marine Credit Union, you have access to other credit unions across the country through the Co-Op shared branching network.

The next time you travel out of state and use a shared branch, you’ll experience IDCheck — a digital way for credit unions to more efficiently process your personal information.

As always, please bring your government issued ID and Marine Credit Union account number. But, instead of filling out your information on paper, you’ll experience IDCheck where you will:

  • Scan the QR code found at the branch with your phone to start the process
  • Find “Marine Credit Union” in the dropdown menu that appears
  • Follow the prompts that request your information
  • Take a photo of your ID followed by an in-person selfie
