Community Engagement with Sal Frelick

Sal Frelick, from Milwaukee’s baseball team, is the kind of player every team likes to have: energetic, fundamentally sound and relentlessly competitive. He’s got what we call a “warrior’s spirit.”

What you can’t always see on the field, though, is what we believe in most — a servant’s heart.

We’ve partnered with Sal, not only because of what he does on the field, but because of our shared values and mission to do good off of it.

Nominated for the 2025 Roberto Clemente Award, which goes to the player who “best represents the game of baseball through sportsmanship, community involvement and positive contributions on and off the field,” we couldn’t think of a more perfect embodiment of what we focus on here – advancing lives of the people across our communities.
