The COVID relief package of December 27, 2020 authorizes additional Economic Impact Payments to be made by the IRS by January 15, 2021.

If you think you will be receiving a federal stimulus check into your Marine CU checking account, good news. We are watching for your deposit and will email you before it hits your account. Paper checks began to be mailed on Wednesday, Dec. 30.

There’s no need to call and wait on hold to verify the deposit. Just watch your email and we’ll let you know when its going to hit your account. 

Remember, when your funds are delivered, they will go directly into the same account in which you received your last deposit from the IRS. If it’s a Marine Credit Union account, we will let you know as soon as they are on their way.

The best and fastest way to verify your funds have been deposited is through the Marine Mobile App. As soon as your deposit is pending, you will see it in the app. If you don’t have the app, click here to download it.

How do we know when your funds will be deposited?
As your credit union, we can see if your account will be receiving funds before the money is there because the IRS sends us the account numbers and dollar amounts days before the funds are actually transferred. So rest assured, we will let you know as soon as we know the funds are coming.
