Welcome to Marine Credit Union

We are excited to welcome you to Marine Credit Union.  As we near the integration date of Old National Bank’s offices in Chippewa Falls, Columbus, Dodgeville, Eau Claire, Lancaster, Monroe, New Glarus, Platteville, Prairie du Chien, and Stanley, WI, we want to ensure that you have the information you need.

Marine Credit Union serves more than 60,000 members from 31 locations across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. Our purpose is helping people, with a special focus on personal relationships and local decision-making. We provide a full range of banking products and services customers expect from a full-service financial institution with a flexible, caring approach.

We will continue to operate in all markets acquired. Marine currently has a presence in Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, and Prairie du Chien; these offices will be consolidated to best serve you. The Marine Credit Union branches located in Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire will consolidate into the Old National Bank offices, while the Old National Bank branch in Prairie du Chien will consolidate into the existing Marine Credit Union branch. We are committed to maintaining the same friendly staff you know and trust in all locations, with additional support from our helpful staff at Marine Credit Union.

No Interruption in Service

You will continue to have access to your Old National Bank accounts and local office during the transition. In addition, all site ATMs will remain available, and you will continue to have access to property in your safe deposit box.

Important Dates

Below, you will find key dates related to your local branch and account.

  • October 4 -13: Your new Marine Credit Union debit card(s) arrived in the mail. If you haven’t already, please activate your card immediately to avoid service disruption. Continue to use your Old National Bank debit card(s) through October 26 at 5:00pm.
  • October 4 -13: Complimentary Marine Credit Union checks arrived in the mail. Continue to use your Old National Bank checks through October 26.
  • October 26 – 29: Online and Mobile Banking will be unavailable from Friday, October 26 at 5:00pm through Monday, October 29 at 8:00am.
  • October 26: Please begin using your Marine Credit Union debit card(s) on Friday, October 26 at 5:00pm. Your Old National Bank debit card(s) will no longer be active at this time.
  • October 27: Please begin using your Marine Credit Union checks on Saturday, October 27.
  • October 27: Your Old National Bank location will be closed for a systems upgrade on Saturday, October 27.
  • October 29: Your local branch opens as Marine Credit Union on Monday, October 29. Marine Credit Union’s Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and Phone Banking services will be available beginning at 8:00am.

Account Number Update

You currently have an account number for each open Old National Bank product. As a Marine Credit Union member, you will enjoy the simplicity of one account number, with sub-numbers for each product. We’ll send this new account number in the mail shortly.

Direct Deposit and Pre-Authorized Withdrawals

There is no need to re-establish direct deposits or pre-authorized withdrawals; we will process all notifications on your behalf. Beginning October 29, please use the Marine Credit Union Routing Number, 275977489, and the full MICR account number when setting up new direct deposits or withdrawals. We will send this information to you in a letter. Please contact us for more information on establishing electronic transactions.

Product and Service Updates

Savings Accounts

All deposit accounts will be converted to Marine Credit Union accounts. If you do not already have a savings account, one will be opened for you at no cost. With your new Marine Credit Union account, you will receive competitive rates, easy access to your funds, access to new products, and a safe, simple banking experience.

Interest Bearing Checking

Your checking account will be transitioned to our interest bearing checking account. Enjoy all the benefits of our regular checking account such as no monthly maintenance fees, four free boxes of checks annually, instant issue debit cards, free-e-statements, and more! Plus, you’ll earn dividends when you maintain a minimum balance of $1,000.

Non-Interest Bearing Checking

Your checking account will be transitioned to our non interest bearing checking account. This account offers all the essentials with no monthly maintenance fees, no minimum balance, up to four free boxes of checks annually, free e-statements, instant issue debit cards, and more!


Marine will send you a free box of checks at no cost to you. These checks will be mailed to the address listed on your account and will include your new MICR number and routing number. If you currently have more than one box of checks in your supply, we are happy to replace those as well. Simply bring in your supply of Old National Bank checks, and we will reorder a similar quantity.

Debit Cards

You will receive a Marine debit card in the mail with a new look, card number, and PIN (Personal Identification Number). With your Marine debit card, you will enjoy unlimited free transactions at Marine Credit Union ATMs, up to five free transactions per month at non-Marine Credit Union ATMs, and no monthly or annual fees. Your debit card is equipped with EMV technology to provide an additional layer of security for your everyday purchases, comes with free fraud monitoring and protection, and features free debit card controls through Mobile Banking.

IRA (Individual Retirement Account)

IRA Certificate of Deposits will continue to earn interest at the rate contracted with Old National Bank until the maturity date. If renewed, they will renew at Marine’s rates. In November, you will receive a mailing related to your IRA requiring signatures to update your IRA Custodian to Marine Credit Union.

Certificate of Deposit (CD)

CDs will continue to earn interest at the rate contracted with Old National Bank until the maturity date. If renewed, they will renew at Marine’s rates.

Christmas Club Accounts

All Christmas Club accounts will be transitioned to Marine Credit Union. As part of that transition, account dividends will credit quarterly, rather than annually.


If you currently have a loan through Old National Bank, it will continue to be serviced through Old National Bank. Please look for a letter from Old National Bank with information regarding changes to your loan payment process.

Online Banking

If you currently use Online Banking, your accounts will be automatically transitioned to Marine’s Online and Mobile Banking systems. Please note that transfers currently set up through Online Banking at Old National will not be converted to Marine Credit Union and will need to be re-established. Please note that your new Online Banking password will be e-mailed to you on October 29. On this date, visit and enter your temporary username (which has been mailed to you) and your password in the Online Banking login area and click “Go”. You will be prompted to change your username and password to a selection of your choice and will be granted access to your account. Please be aware that non-account owner designees will not be able to access your account.

If you are not currently enrolled in Online Banking but would like to gain access to this free service, visit beginning October 29. In the Online Banking login area, click “First Time User” and follow the prompts. If you need assistance, please contact a Marine Credit Union Member Representative at 800.923.7280.

Mobile Banking

The Marine Mobile app gives you the freedom to bank on the go, wherever you are! This free app allows you to check your account balances, transfer money, find the nearest branch and ATM locations, and much more! Beginning October 29, log in to your Online Banking account. After your initial login, follow the steps below to access the Marine Mobile app.

  1. Visit your device’s app store (Google Play for Android devices and the App Store for Apple devices) and download Marine Mobile.
  2. Log in using your Online Banking credentials.
  3. You will be sent a one-time PIN for security purposes via the e-mail address on file. Once received, enter this to register your device and accept the user agreement.

If you experience issues logging in or are not yet registered for Online Banking, click the “First Time User” link in the mobile app and follow the prompts. You may also contact a Marine Credit Union Member Representative at 800.923.7280.

Phone Banking

Marine Credit Union offers Phone Banking to give you immediate access to your accounts without the need of an internet connection. To access our Phone Banking 24/7, simply call 800.444.5717. You’ll need your new Marine Credit Union Account Number and your full social security number. Once you are in the system, you will need to create a new PIN between 6-12 numbers long for future Phone Banking access.

Online Bill Pay

Payments scheduled through October 26 will be processed by Old National. Any payments made after October 26 will be processed by Marine Credit Union. Please also note that access to Bill Pay through your Old National account will be unavailable between October 22 and October 28. If you need to schedule a payment to be made between those dates, please do so before October 22. Effective October 29, follow these easy steps to begin using Marine Credit Union’s Bill Payment system:

  1. Log in to Online Banking and click on the Bill Pay tab.
  2. If you’ve used Bill Pay previously, your payees since 01/01/2018 will be available.
  3. Click on the desired payee to make a payment.
  4. To add new payees, click the Add a Payee button and follow the prompts.


If you want to be notified when your account balance falls below a certain amount, a check has cleared, a payment has posted, or other important account updates, Marine Credit Union’s eAlerts are for you. To start receiving alerts by e-mail or text message on or after October 29, login to Online Banking and complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Services
  2. Click the Continue button next to eAlerts.
  3. Select the enroll button on the bottom of the page.
  4. Enter your e-mail address or select a phone provider to receive text alerts.
  5. Click the Add Alert in the desired section (Member, Share, or Loan).
  6. Follow the prompts to complete setup and click Save.

Account Statements

All of your account notices and statements will be updated to our user-friendly format. You will receive your final statement, in paper format, from Old National through October 26. All future statements will come from Marine Credit Union. If you currently receive e-statements with Old National, you will automatically receive e-statements from Marine.
