LA CROSSE, Wis. – October 18, 2019 – Marine Credit Union recently announced several additions to their leadership team that will support the company’s continued growth.

Adam Keer has been named Chief Experience Officer, a new role at Marine Credit Union. The new position will allow Marine to continue improving and investing in better experiences for its members and employees. Adam began his career at Marine in 2003 as an intern. After rotating through numerous roles within the credit union, he became Chief Operating Officer in 2014. “His growth through these roles has given him a comprehensive background in all parts of our operation that impact our customers,” said Shawn Hanson, CEO.

Katie Tolokken has been named Chief Operating Officer. Katie will oversee Marine’s loan operations, deposit operations and facilities. These teams will continue streamlining processes for employees and members and improving efficiency and experiences for all stakeholders. Katie joined Marine in 2000 and advanced to SVP of Corporate Operations in 2016. “Her work has focused on execution of strategic projects, specifically as they support the continued growth of Marine,” said Shawn Hanson, CEO.

Jamee Mangold has been hired as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager overseeing Marines’ offices on the east side of Wisconsin. He spent the past 16 years in sales leadership at Wells Fargo, most recently as the Vice President and Commercial Banking Manager for Northeast Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. “We’re excited to have Jamee leading our teams on the east side of Wisconsin,” said Jack Haworth, Chief Sales Officer. “His experience and industry knowledge will help our teams to better serve our members.”

Derek Hebrink has been hired as Director of Digital Systems and Customer Experience. He joins Marine from Kaplan Professional, where he served as Director of Business Systems & Strategy. Derek has a decade of experience in implementation and support of business systems and will be responsible for the Salesforce platform and associated business solutions. “We’re excited to have Derek’s expertise and knowledge joining our team,” said Jack Kalander, Chief Information Officer.

Ray Boyum has been hired as District Manager in Marine’s Iowa District. He has more than 17 years of experience in the financial industry, most of which he spent in various leadership roles at Citibank in Iowa, covering the eastern part of the U.S. and Puerto Rico. “We’re looking forward to Ray’s excitement and expertise as he leads our teams in Iowa,” Ken Brossman, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager.

Tricia Chappell has been hired as Branch Manager at Marine’s Racine Regency branch. She has more than 20 years of leadership experience. “Tricia will bring a wealth of knowledge to our team and help us to advance the lives of our members,” said Jason Kaufman, Southeast Wisconsin District Manager.

Phil Meese has been hired as Branch Manager at Marine’s branch in Milwaukee on 27th Street. He has nearly a decade of leadership experience as a store manager at Get It Now, where he managed all daily operations. “Phil’s leadership experience will help him guide our team on 27th Street,” Jason Kaufman, Southeast District Manager.

Cameron Chanthavong has been hired as Member Service Supervisor at Marine’s Ranger Credit Union, located inside Logan High School in La Crosse. In this role he will manage the accounts of Ranger Credit Union members, while leading and mentoring Marine’s Youth Apprentice employees. Cameron joins Marine from UnitedOne Credit Union in Manitowoc, WI. “Cameron’s past experience will set him up for success in this role,” said Erin Wencl, La Crosse Branch Manager.

Lee Loebman has been hired as Digital Marketing Manager. He brings more than 10 years of experience managing web, email and mobile marketing channels in various industries. “In this new role for the credit union, Lee will be responsible for managing digital marketing channels like website, email and text to help Marine interact with members wherever they are, in a way that’s most convenient for them,” said Paul Leckie, Senior Vice President of Marketing.
