LA CROSSE, Wis. – June 21, 2019 – Marine Credit Union recently announced several additions to their leadership team that will support the company’s continued growth.

Liz Malott has been named Senior Vice President of Talent. In this new role, Malott will oversee all aspects of talent management, including recruiting, talent development, leadership development and training. She has more than a decade of experience coaching employees to build successful careers at Marine. Malott joined Marine in 2000 as a Member Service Representative and has held progressive roles including Consumer Loan Officer, Member Services Supervisor, Branch Manager and District Manager. “Liz will be working to improve Marine’s talent management company wide including recruiting, training, talent development and leadership development,” said Lindsey Higgins, Chief Human Resources Officer. “Liz is committed to living our values and carrying out our mission, and I’m confident she will continue to serve our Marine team well.”

Laura Mueller has been named Director of the Project Management Office. Mueller joined Marine in June 2012 as a Project Coordinator and was named Project Portfolio Manager in August 2015. “Laura has been an instrumental part of Marine’s growth over the past seven years, leading and driving many successful projects,” Jack Kalander, Chief Information Officer.

Matt Rayome has been hired as District Manager to lead Marine’s Fox Valley District. Rayome joined Marine from BMO Harris where he served as Bank Manager in Howard. “Matt’s previous experience has provided him with the knowledge and leadership needed to lead our Fox Valley District,” said Mark Barker, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager. “We look forward to Matt’s guidance.

Jennifer Schlegel has been hired as Training Manager. Schlegel will oversee Marine’s sales based training programs and Training Specialists. She joins Marine from IC System, where she served as Operations Supervisor & Training Specialist. Schlegel has several years of training facilitation and design experience. “Jennifer’s experience at IC Systems makes me confident she will make many positive contributions to our training and talent management team,” said Liz Malott, SVP of Community Banking.

Josh Russell has been hired as Branch Manager at Marine’s branch on 35th Street in Milwaukee. Russell joins Marine from US Bancorp in Milwaukee where he served as an ETF Fund Accountant. He served as a Branch Manager at Wells Fargo in Milwaukee as well. “We are excited to welcome Josh to the Marine team,” said Mark Barker, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager. “His past experience in finance will allow him to lead our team effectively.”
