Leadership Announcement – August 18, 2017
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Aug 18, 2017 – Marine Credit Union announced several additions to their leadership in the last few weeks that will support the company’s continued growth.
Lindsey Higgins has joined Marine Credit Union as Chief Human Resources Officer. As a member of the executive team, Higgins will provide strategic HR leadership for the organization. He will oversee all functional HR areas including recruiting, benefits, employee relations, engagement and retention, and leadership development. He has more than 25 years of experience in HR, recruiting and employee relations. Higgins joins Marine from Ashley HomeStores, where he served as Vice President of HR. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Personnel Administration from the University of Kansas.
Mike Spillane has joined Marine Credit Union as Senior Vice President of Loan Quality. In his role, Spillane will monitor credit risk, identify early warning factors and continually improve loan underwriting guidelines. Spillane joins Marine from Guaranty Bank, where he served in numerous senior leadership roles over the past 18 years, including finance and information technology. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Marquette University.
Zach Denneau was promoted to Branch Manager in Rushford. Denneau began his career at Marine Credit Union as an intern in Rushford in 2015. After finishing his first summer with the team as a top-performing intern, he was promoted to an Associate Consumer Loan Officer in La Crosse, while finishing his degree at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Denneau then relocated to help launch Marine’s new office in Winona in November of 2016, before being promoted to Branch Manager in Rushford.
