Expanding the Relationship – Ryan’s Story

Ryan was one of our many members adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Running 7 days past due on his loan, he came to our Green Bay branch struggling to find a solution. Our branch manager spoke with him to ask some additional questions and find a suitable option for Ryan.

After chatting, she found that Ryan was a self-employed musician in the area who was unable to book any sets with the indefinite closing of restaurants and bars. Our branch manager quickly submitted a pandemic relief case, hoping to provide a temporary hold on payments. She was later able to call Ryan back to inform him that we were able to push his due date out 2 months, giving him the time he needed to catch his breath and recover.

Ryan was very grateful to have Marine Credit Union in his corner during this trying time, going above and beyond to develop a plan that would work for everyone.
