Leadership Changes At Marine Credit Union
LA CROSSE, Wis., September 16, 2016 — Marine Credit Union announced several changes to its leadership in the last month that will help accelerate the company’s continued growth.
- Ken Brossman promoted to Senior Vice President and Regional Manager – Brossman joined Marine in 2010 as a Branch Manager in Milwaukee. He managed three different branches before being promoted to District Manager in La Crosse in 2012. Ken has since grown the La Crosse District more than 32%, including mergers with three different credit unions. In his new role as SVP and Regional Manager, Brossman will oversee the La Crosse District and the newly formed Northwest Wisconsin District. Brossman resides in La Crosse, Wis.
- Marie MacGlashin hired as Contact Center Director – MacGlashin has joined Marine as Contact Center Director, providing leadership and coaching to Marine’s contact centers in Fond du Lac and La Crosse. MacGlashin joins Marine from Logistics Health Incorporated in La Crosse, where she led a team of more than 100 contact center employees. She holds an MBA from Viterbo University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from UW-La Crosse. MacGlashin resides in La Crosse, Wis.
- Luke Soper hired as Vice President of Finance – Soper has joined Marine as Vice President of Finance, supporting the organization’s investment activity, risk management and financial reporting. He joins Marine from San Diego County Credit Union, where he served as Senior Financial Analyst. In 2015, the Cooperative Trust selected Soper as one of 10 young credit union professionals nationwide to attend the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) CFO Council through its “Crash the Council” program. He is also a Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) Next Top Credit Union Executive nominee. Soper holds a Bachelor’s degree in Comprehensive Accounting from UW-Eau Claire and is a Certified Public Accountant. Soper is a La Crosse, Wis. native and relocated back to the region from San Diego.
- Steve Leffew promoted to Branch Manager in Green Bay – Leffew joined Marine in August 2015 as a lender at Marine’s branch in Ripon, Wis. In less than one year, he moved to the office in Neenah, Wis., was promoted to a senior leader and has now been named Branch Manager in Green Bay, Wis. In this role, Leffew will ensure the Marine team is providing exceptional service to the members it serves in the Green Bay and surrounding communities. He will also be responsible for the training and development of the branch staff members, which include member service representatives, consumer and mortgage loan officers. Leffew has been a top performer for the credit union over the last year and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UW-Stout.
