Leadership Announcement at Marine Credit Union

LA CROSSE, Wis. – June 6, 2016 – Marine Credit Union announced several changes to its senior leadership team in the first half of the year that will help accelerate the company’s continued growth.

  1. Katie Tolokken promoted to Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations
    Tolokken has been with Marine for more than 15 years. During her tenure, she has participated in nine mergers and overseen the completion of four, including the most recent with United Service Community Credit Union in Des Moines. She has also led the opening of five new loan offices in the past eight months. In her new position as SVP of Corporate Operations, Tolokken will lead the credit union’s continued merger and office expansion activity. She will also be responsible for the management of physical branch locations and execution of corporate projects, in order to maximize efficiencies and productivity. Tolokken is a resident of La Crosse, Wis.
  2. Gregg Mashack promoted to Vice President of Mortgage Lending
    Mashack has helped increase the number of mortgage lenders at the company from 15 to nearly 40 since he joined the company in August 2014. He has more than 15 years of experience in mortgage lending. In his new position as VP of Mortgage Lending, Mashack will continue to support the recruitment, performance and training and development of Marine’s mortgage lending team. He resides in Waukesha, Wis.
  3. Jason Cobb hired as Senior Vice President of Operations
    Cobb has joined Marine as SVP of Operations, overseeing E-Services, Deposit Operations, Business Intelligence, Project Management and the credit union’s Contact Center. In this new role, Cobb will provide strategic direction for the credit union’s digital, payment and deposit products. He joins Marine from First Merchants Bank in Indianapolis, where he oversaw Product Management. Cobb graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at UW-Madison and earned his MBA from Ball State University. He and his family have relocated from Indianapolis to La Crosse, Wis.
  4. Ron Cockle hired as Senior Vice President of Business Development
    Cockle has joined Marine as SVP of Business Development, overseeing Marketing, Indirect Lending, Consumer Lending Business Development and Portfolio Mortgage Lending. He joins Marine from Johnson Bank in Racine and has more than 30 years of experience in banking and mortgage sales. Cockle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UCLA. He and his family are in the process of relocating from Milwaukee to La Crosse, Wis.
