member privacy and we make conscientious efforts to ensure your

products and services to you. We educate the credit union staff
about the importance of confidentiality and privacy through
special training programs and standard operating procedures.

technology, as it becomes available, in order to continue to
best protect your privacy and assure integrity.

Sharing Your
Information
Marine
Credit Union has established business relationships with various
third-party vendors and other affiliates to help deliver our
services to you or to inform you of a broader array of products. In
the examples below, we refer to affiliated and non-affiliated third
parties. Affiliated third parties refer to an entity in which
Marine Credit Union has partial ownership. An example of this right
now is Consumer Loan Services. Non-affiliated third party refers to
all of our other relationships. Our practices are as follows:

may share personal information with our credit union affiliates
as allowed by federal law, if that information is required to
provide a product or service you request.

do not share information with non-affiliated third parties
concerning your your account with us, except: a)to verify the
condition and existence of your account for a third party (such
as a credit bureau); b)to complete a transaction or perform a
service you've requested; c)to comply with any court order or
applicable laws or regulations; or d)when you give us your
written permission (e.g., verification of deposits.) Before
establishing these relationships with reputable parties, we
require strict privacy protection practices. As appropriate, we
may maintain written confidentiality agreements with such
parties as a means to safeguard member information. We also
required that they use your personal information only to
complete the service requested.

Marine
Credit Union does not and will not sell or provide your personal
information to any third party for independent use. As permitted
by law, we may enter into joint marketing agreements with
non-affiliated third parties or other financial institutions to
provide you with products and/or service to enhance your
well-being.

Right to Financial Privacy Act (RTFPA) and the USA Patriot Act
establish specific procedures that federal government
authorities must follow when seeking member information. Marine
Credit Union will follow these procedures.

required by law through the auspices of the United States
Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN),
Marine Credit Union does comply with Section 314(b) of the USA
Patriot Act and will share information with other financial
institutions to further the fight against organized crime and
terrorism.

law may vary slightly, but, in general, by following procedures
similar to RTFPA, Marine Credit Union will prevent access to
financial information by state and local government agencies and
law enforcement officials, or private individuals seeking member
records under state law.
Disclosure
of Information about Former Members
If
you end your membership with Marine Credit Union, we will continue
to adhere to our privacy policies and practices. We will not share
any information, except as permitted or required by law.
