We love helping our members with their financial needs. But there are some needs that can’t be met with loans or savings accounts. We started the Marine Credit Union Foundation to address those challenges — the ones that don’t have quick-fix solutions. And, thanks to our generous members, employees and donors, we’ve been able to create meaningful, lasting change in hundreds of communities.

How the Marine Credit Union Foundation
strengthens communities:

Giving

Thanks to our members’ and employees’ selfless donations of time, talent and money, we’re able to stock food pantries, build homes, honor our veterans and much more.

Teaching

Sometimes, the most valuable service we can offer isn’t a loan — it’s education. We point people’s finances in the right direction by demystifying credit, loans and other financial concepts.

Buying a home is a major milestone on any financial journey. We believe each of our members is entitled to home ownership – even those who never thought it possible. That’s why we started the Finding HOME initiative in 2018, a program designed to help members strengthen their financial health and qualify for a home loan in the process.

Hear from our communities

We know it is because of people and organizations like the Marine Credit Union Foundation, who want to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities, that we are able to have events such as Miss RemarkAble.

I am not sure what to call all of my emotions at this point! We are overjoyed. The night my realtor told me my offer was accepted the first person I called happy-crying was my sister. This is such an amazing feeling.
